What antiques mean to me.

I have been collecting, trading and selling antiques since I was young. I love to get out and look for great finds at markets, yard sales and antique stores. I have been blogging about antiques since June of 2013 when I started up a blog for Mr. Sammy at Sammy's Antiques and Consignment. After he passed away, I started a blog and facebook page for Aunt Tiques place. The store started in a small 300 sq ft office and grew to a 2300 sq ft building on Main Street, Columbiana Al. This April The owner of Aunt Tiques Place Martha Smith, sold the store to Brian and Lisa Walker so she could spend more time with her Son and his family that had been stationed overseas for the past 12 years and is now stationed in Panama City Fl. The store is now called Main Street Market, yet still retains the,"Come on in and sit a spell" environment that Mr. Sammy McEwen started in Wilsonville Al. I look forward to sharing all the cool items and people that come through the store with y'all here on the blog and facebook.
